About Us

Growing up, I watched my dad, David, work hard in the construction industry. He installed shingle roofs, took on general construction projects—pretty much anything to provide for our family. In 1994, he discovered the potential of commercial roof coatings. This game-changer allowed him to increase profits, reduce labor, and grow his business, all while giving him more time with us. Working alongside my dad and brothers in the family business, I learned the trade firsthand.

In 2014, I married my amazing wife, Lorna, and we moved to Sparta, WI, to be closer to her family. That year, we started our own roofing business, SR Commercial Roofing. From the beginning, we’ve loved working with local business owners, helping them find cost-effective alternatives to full roof replacements. Problem-solving is one of my favorite parts of the job—every roof has unique challenges, and I take pride in providing solutions many customers didn’t realize were possible.

Today, we’re fortunate to work with a team of skilled professionals who share our commitment to quality and customer service. In 2024, we were blessed to adopt our son, Micah. He’s already taking an interest in the business, soaking up knowledge, and enjoying job site visits.

In 2025, we rebranded as SR Commercial Roofing to better serve our customers, focusing exclusively on commercial roofing solutions.
When we’re not on the roof, we love spending time outdoors—boating, fishing, camping, and traveling in the summer.
In the fall, I love spending time outdoors, especially hunting whitetail deer. During the winter offseason, we dedicate our energy to helping other contractors scale and grow their businesses.
